Hi all! Hope you don't mind me making this post here.

I just set up a little store in the form of an open community.
I've been a J-rock fan for several years, two of my favourite bands being Janne Da Arc and of course Acid Black Cherry. ^^
I wanted to share this link with you because over time I've collected a lot of now rare and out of print stuff, and there might be something you like or have missing from your collection.
I love my music and these bands dearly so almost everything is in mint condition with the original spines and everything. I have some rare Janne posters currently up and some of the more recent ABC ones so if you think you might be interested, please come and browse.
I have lots of other bands' stuff for sale here too and may be putting more stuff up as time goes on, so please feel free to add my comm if you want to keep an eye on it.

I hope you all have been doing well. It's been Colder Than All Fuck here in Japan, and things have kept me pretty tied up, but since I have a few minutes and things have finally been announced, here's the run-down.

First, Acid Black Cherry.

For those members in Japan, through this month ABC is doing a collaboration with Shibuya 109. You can see the pictures of some of the giant posters and things going on from the ABC Twitter and Facebook pages as of yet, but also on display are some of the outfits that yasu has worn. So, if you happen to be in the area/want to go on a fandom trip, that might be something to consider, especially if you're interested in fashion. yasu is also gracing the cover of this month's Men's Spider magazine, where the purchase extra is an ABC bandanna you can only get with this issue.

However! The big chunk of news is, of course, regarding the new album, titled "2012" (pronunciation: ni-zero-ichi-ni, or two-zero-one-two for English speakers).

The album begins with the single "Re:birth", so with the addition of "Shoujo no Inori III" and the singles that were part of the five-month blitz, these will make up 7 of the planned 13 tracks.

The album will release on March 13 in 3 editions, the same as the two previous albums; there will be 2 different DVD versions (one with music clips and an interview, the other with footage from the Acid Black Christmas show at Osaka-jo Hall) as well as a CD only edition.

Just as before, those ordering directly from the fanclub, from mu-mo, or from the official mobile fanclub will also get other extras. To find out about each edition in full, click the cuts below:

Next Thing: DAMIJAW!

Things have been pretty quiet on the DAMIJAW front following the New Year's show, especially for people overseas as their current releases from the upcoming album are currently only being released electronically. I've heard that the first single "BE WITH YOU" is available on iTunes, but avex has also been notorious for not playing nice in allowing their digital downloads to be available internationally, so I'm not sure how valid that claim is outside of Japan. In any case, they will continue to release two more singles in this fashion in the next 2 months, "WOW!WOW!" and "Dami-jo no Kyuuketsu Akuma ga Aishita Maria (kako-naku)".

Guitarist Kenta Harada has also started his own Twitter as of this week, at @kenta_harada. Those of you who are interested, please do follow him as well.

Thing of the Next: kiyo

kiyo has announced last night that he will not be participating in the "My Name is KAI" event as a support artist as previously announced, citing that poor health was to blame for his being unable to attend rehearsals for the event.

However, he reports that he is well now, and as is typical of kiyo, apologizes for making all the fans worry about him, as well as to all the fans who had planned on attending the event in order to see him.

Where the Hell Have You Been, you-chan

you is finally going to be performing for literally his first time in years as an artist during the Shibuya Live Rally on March 25 along with a bunch of other artists including ALvino and Miyavi. I know it's been a while since the announcement of the January Acid Black Cherry single, but now that all the information is up I'll put it all in one easy-to-access post.

The fifth and final single of ABC's release blitz is called "Yes", and it will release on January 18. Of course there will be CD only and DVD editions, retailing for the same price as always: 1050 yen for the CD only, and 1,680 for the edition with a DVD. There will also again be an edition exclusive to TSUTAYA stores that will only contain the title track.

The B-side is a rather interesting one this time, a song entitled Stop it love that yasu himself wrote for a radio program ten years ago--so, he's doing a self-cover of a song that not a lot of people (I'm guessing) have actually heard; and it'll be really interesting to hear something from that far back in his history as an artist.

As for the title track, Yes is being touted as a "jewel of a ballad" with such power that "if [someone] listens to the end, they will be unable to stop themselves from moaning "Yes~!""

As an aside, since "Yes" is written in katakana for this release, it's possible that it could have a double meaning of "Jesus"; but we'll have to see the lyrics and artist shots to see whether or not that's a reasonable conclusion to draw (but it makes that blurb above sound juuuust a smidge dirtier, doesn't it?).

The ABC official sites have changed their looks to reflect the artist shots for the upcoming release CRISIS, and you can watch the TV spot from the main page in the event that you have yet to see it.

Additionally, the next gift in the ABC Dream Cup will be announced this Saturday, December 10, at 5 am Japan time, so for once those of you who are not in Japan actually get a pretty lucky break in terms of maybe not having to stay up or wake up early...and those of us in Japan, well...I didn't want to sleep in anyway!


In DAMIJAW news, they're still going strong on their tour and are now in the Tohoku area; I attended one of their shows in Shibuya last week, and everyone was looking well!

They're also going to be doing their Countdown live "Yuku Toshi, Kuru Toshi, Fudeoroshi 2" this year at Shinjuku BLAZE on New Year's Eve.

Surprise! For those of you wondering where kiyo's been, he's going to be playing as a support artist for some shows next year as part of Yoshihiro Kai's "MY NAME IS KAI 2" event. For more details on that, please visit kiyo's official site here.


So, it looks like the Janne boys are working hard to end this year with a bang and give 2012 a running start--don't forget that DAMIJAW will have 3 successive releases coming up in the first 3 months of the new year, and yasu's hard at work preparing for his Acid Black Christmas event in Osaka as well!
